Sekinchan 1 Day Trip

Haha..took so long for me to update with a new post. Nearly a year o(^.^)o but actually i'm still actively in photography just too lazy to upload pictures : ) Last 2 days was Hari Raya holiday for me so i got the chance to go visit Sekinchan which is located 29km from Kuala Selangor. If you are driving from KL, it will take you 2 hours to get here. I wanted to go see the pretty padi field that i heard people talking about for so long. When i reach there...i was shocked to find out the all the padi field there was "botak"....Wrong wrong timing to go. Due to the botak padi fields, I also had to go visit the fishing village that was located not far from Sekinchan entrance, about 1-2km. Not much pictures to take due to bad weather. Hopefully in the future, i will have a chance to take the so called pretty padi fields..Below are sample of the fishing village..

I'm kinda surpised that these village still exist till today. Maybe i stayed in the city too long and haven't got a chance to see all this. More pics coming soon : )

Canon Photo Marathon 2011@Pavilion KL & Area 27 Opening

Canon Malaysia held an event on 15 October 2011 at Pavilion KL which is called Canon Photo Marathon 2011. There were around 3000++ photographer who attended the event. We were asked to complete 3 themes and submit the best photo for it.

We were also given chance to try out the lenses which were super expensive to afford : )

The first theme was the hardest for everyone i think because theme was "The Guardian Of The World". We were all totally stunned and do not know what pictures to take for the theme.

As you can see everyone is off to take their pictures after first theme has been announced. The crowd was awesome.

While i was strolling around for pictures, i came across an event which is quite near Starhill which was the opening of Area 27. It is a boutique selling the most in-trend and funkiest clothes. What made me surprised was the owner drove in a Satria Neo which was white in colour and let people spray paint on it. Below was the outcome of it.

I also got the chance to see a few performance which was held there due to the opening. Enjoy : )

I also manage to came across a new Hello Kitty Debit Card which was released by Hong Leong Bank. If i'm a girl, i'm sure i will apply for it..

Before i close this post, i would to thank Canon Malaysia for creating a great event for us photographer to win prizes and also to meet other photographers around Malaysia. I also snap a pics of the item that i receive for just RM20 from the registration fee. Out of the RM20, some of the money were donated to the Breast Cancer Association.

Thanks for viewing and i hope that those who went for the event had a great time there. Hopefully next year will have another same great event like this. Peace off  ^-^v

Desa Parkcity@Kepong

Desa ParkCity is a very nice place to enjoy and relax urself. You can see many people around here will bring their dogs out to take a walk and also jogging. The best part here is that the security here is really not bad and the people here are quite friendly. I manage to take some pictures while taking a nice walk around the park which is also called "The Waterfront". Please feel free to comment the pictures ^_^
